| In the beginning...
“mountbethel.org” was a collection of good ideas that once implemented lacked a sense of direction. For an institution to have several ministries devoted to community services, there were at least five different layouts and color schemes for each ministry including their online forms and home page; making it difficult to find your way around the site. It was obvious that everyone was eager to claim their own presence, however with time that initiative grew out of hand.
My task was to pull back on the reigns and incorporate their new brand into one master plan/web site, streamline the endless reading featuring out of date copy, and educate the staff on the true capabilities of their hosting package. Not an easy task to be sure, yet we're definitely on the right path. Today you’re greeted with a pre-loading welcome page that quickly sends you to the new home page. No matter where you go from there you’ll always feel as if you’ve never left the site. Also, we made sure to remain focused on presenting pertinent information about the church and its ministries and hold off on building out a site for the other church/business interests.

"I used to be a football coach so my mission was to pool together [A-players] in order to help me streamline and brand our homesite. My web-based goals for '07 were to extend the reach of our ministries online by incorporating streaming technology and other interactive applications. I needed a team of professionals who were passionate about what it is that they do, from public relations to IT and web technology."
"Zaid Designs has been instrumental in helping us reach a higher level with web communications, higher than we've been in quite some time. Let's just say that the changes in our online presence have been long over due and I have the right team members in place to see it through."
